Cinnamon Roll Cake
This cake. Seriously though, this cake.
You know back in the day when Cinnabon was around and you would walk through the mall or airport and you were hit with the overwhelming smell of an amazing cinnamon roll. That smell is this cake realized, but better.
One of the blogs I follow shared this Cinnamon roll cake recipe and I thought, sure why not, I'll give it a go. It looks pretty easy, no rising of dough needed and I'm a fan of cinnamon rolls. But I'm picky, I need a good ratio of frosting to moist roll. Not enough frosting and I'm not happy. So Saturday morning, Abby and I got to baking.
I was an immediate fan of this recipe when I saw it said "put all ingredients into a bowl and mix." Yes ma'am. Mix the cake, put into the pan. Mix the topping, put on top of the cake and swirl. Bake.
If you want something that people will give you mad compliments on, then make this. (am I too old to say mad compliments?) Also, have a big glass of milk ready when you eat this cake. The craving for milk was immediate.
Have a go at it and let me know how it turns out!
